Why AFC Soccer?

Abingdon Football Club is about teaching soccer skills, life skills, and love of the game.

For nearly 30 years youth residents of Harford and Baltimore County have worn the AFC crest with pride, developed as young persons and soccer players, been active in our community, fostered lifelong friendships with teammates, and represented AFC in competitive league play as well as middle school, and high school programs.  Joining an AFC club team is an excellent way to learn and love the game of soccer.

AFC provides high quality instruction.

We offer a proven curriculum appropriate for beginners through elite skill levels, and access to leagues, tournaments, camps, and experiences that players cannot get outside of a club. Loving soccer shouldn’t cost a lot.

David Bascome and BFLA

We are so proud and fortunate to be partnered with Head coach of the Baltimore Blast and his Leadership Academy. David offers us some of the best soccer trainers in the US, including professional players.  His mindset of soccer from growing up and playing in Bermuda has led him to major success on and off the field.  We love that he brings that mindset to us, and really drives the point that the highest quality training should be affordable and available to everyone.  Click on the BFLA tab to learn more about Coach Bascome and his phenomenal leadership academy.

Stop Overpaying for Soccer!

AFC provides the community with an affordable soccer experience. We keep fees low while consistently offering quality training, and top-notch coaching allowing all players to learn, grow, and enjoy the game as a team.

We're a non-profit organization.

AFC Soccer is a volunteer organization, and its leadership is not paid a single dollar. Our coaches are licensed through US Soccer, and most are volunteers as well. Our volunteers who contribute to the organization live, work, and raise families in the community – and in the club.
